Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Base

  • 1 package (5.2 ounces) Boursin Cheese, Garlic & Fine Herbs
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella

Flavorings & Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons Hot Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Cracked Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to fully preheat while you prepare the dip.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, thoroughly blend the Boursin cheese, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and 1 tablespoon of the hot honey until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Lightly oil a small baking dish with the olive oil to prevent sticking, then transfer the cheese mixture into the dish, smoothing out the surface evenly.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of hot honey evenly over the top of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the chopped fresh thyme and a pinch of red pepper flakes for added flavor and color.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the edges are bubbly and the top has a beautiful golden brown color.
  6. Finishing Touches: Once baked, crack fresh black pepper over the top to enhance the flavor. Optionally, add an extra drizzle of hot honey for additional sweetness and spice.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the dip warm alongside toasted bread, crackers, or sliced vegetables for dipping and sharing.

Notes

  • Use fresh thyme for best flavor; dried thyme can be substituted but use about half the amount.
  • Adjust the amount of hot honey depending on your preferred level of sweetness and spice.
  • The red pepper flakes are optional but recommended if you want an extra kick of heat.
  • For a crunchier texture, serve with toasted baguette slices or pita chips.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
