Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz (227g) Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1520 Oreo Cookies, crushed into fine crumbs (including cream filling)
  • 1 cup (30g) Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 23 tbsp Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
  • Pinch of Salt

Optional Mix-ins

  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
  • Shredded coconut

Optional Coatings

  • Extra crushed Oreos
  • Cocoa powder
  • Unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prep & Crush: Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor, leaving a few small chunks for texture. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for 20 minutes or microwaving in 10-second bursts until easily spreadable.
  2. Mix & Mash: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and crushed Oreos until uniform. Gradually add 1 cup protein powder, mixing well, and add milk 1 tablespoon at a time if the mixture is too dry. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Add optional mix-ins like mini chocolate chips or nuts as desired.
  3. Shape & Chill: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into balls with slightly wet hands to prevent sticking. Place on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or freeze for 30 minutes for faster firmness. Optionally, roll chilled balls in extra crushed Oreos, cocoa powder, or shredded coconut for a decorative coating.

Notes

  • Using reduced-fat Oreos or low-carb cookie alternatives can reduce sugar content without sacrificing taste.
  • Softened cream cheese should be easy to mix but not runny—balance temperature carefully.
  • Wet your hands slightly when rolling to prevent sticking and get smooth balls.
  • Protein powder choice can be vanilla or chocolate, depending on flavor preferences.
  • Chilling time can be adjusted; freezing speeds it up but affects texture.
